DESCRIPTION
The Scorpispider has two giant claws, eight clawed walking legs and a stinger. It also has very sensitive hairs on it’s legs.
They also have two spinnerets and two fangs. The fangs can paralyse the prey.
The Scorpispider has eight eyes and a red stripe on it. On the outside it has a hard exoskeleton.
HABITAT
The Scorpispider makes a web that is flat on the ground so it can catch prey. It can also live in mounds of earth and shoot silk at its prey. It sometimes lives in the dark corneres of house.
DIET
It eats beetles, spiders and crickets. It can also eat scorpions because it is more powerful than them.
INTERESTING FACTS
The Scorpispider is afraid of Ichneumon wasps which lay eggs inside the Scorpispider. These hatch and eat the Scorpispider.
The Scorpispider is different to the Scorpion. The male Scorpispider will eat the female one if it gets too hungry or angry!
The scorpispider can jump onto people and sting them or bite them and kill them!
