What was it?
RMS titanic was a huge boat that everyone thought that was unsinkable. Unluckily the titanic ended up to be a disaster that shocked the world!!
What happened to it?
One night Titanic hit the iceberg at 11.40 pm. It took less than a minute between the sighting and the crash with the iceberg. Lights went out at 2.18 am and the stern disappeared in the water at 2.20 am. Many life’s were lost Children, male and female died. About 750 survived and 1,514 died.
Special things
It was the largest ship of its time. It sank on its maiden voyage, even though it was claimed to be unsinkable. It was the first ship to use the SOS distress code. But after they sent SOS they sent distress rockets.
